The Story
Diane J. Lewis loves to paint! I have primarily painted landscapes. In the last 15 years I have let myself branch out and try many other venues. I started in acrylic, changed to oil and am now painting in pastels, with the exception of using oil with cold wax when painting abstracts.

Oregon is so beautiful and I find inspiration wherever I go. I find I gravitate to rivers mostly. Water is so challenging and beautiful I can't pass it by.

I have spent most of my adult life designing pictures with customers in our picture framing business. A few years ago we expanded our business and our son, Scott became a partner in our online shop, webpictureframes.com. We still have our local custom/wholesale shop, Vistra Framing & Gallery where you can still find me working sometimes. I try to stay in the studio but have a hard time getting as many hours there as I would like.
